Every year after the Easter weekend we accumulate a lot of chocolate eggs. As yummy as they are, sometimes we struggle to use them up.

This year we ended up with more than 24 chocolate eggs (No, I'm not exaggerating!).

So we had to come up with creative ways to use these chocolate eggs.

Today, 5 weeks after Easter only 3 chocolate eggs remain 😊

Here's how we managed to do it...

WARNING: The content below may be too CHOCOLATEY for some readers!

The quickest way to consume chocolate eggs is to melt them.

All you need is a microwave, a microwavable bowl, a silicon spatula and plain chocolate eggs (broken in pieces).

Method:

  1. Place the broken chocolate eggs in a microwavable bowl.
  2. Heat the broken chocolate pieces in the microwave for 20 seconds.
  3. Stir with spatula.
  4. Heat the chocolate again for 20 seconds.
  5. Stir with the spatula.
  6. Keep heating the chocolate for 20 seconds and stirring until the chocolate has completely melted and turns into a smooth, gooey, chocolatey texture.

You can have this yummy gooey chocolate with chopped strawberries...

Or with waffles and whipped cream...

Or with pancakes, chopped strawberries and whipped cream...

Or with pancakes and m&ms...

Or add some broken chocolate pieces into a glass of milk. Heat it up in the microwave for 1 minute or more until the chocolate is completely melted. Stir and enjoy a glass of hot chocolate milk 🙂
